Lori Kirk - Owner

Peter Sherwood – Manager

I have been in the travel industry since 1970 joining Qantas Airways in Sydney in reservations, agency desk and ticket office. I then moved on the ANZ Bank travel division in leisure and corporate travel working in North Sydney and HQ at Martin Place. In 1979 I was offered an opportunity with Burns Philip Travel to open and manage a new branch in Hornsby, this location was then taken over by Jetset Travel.  In 1993 I decided to open my own travel agency Harvey World Travel Hornsby and that's been an exciting and challenging experience. In 2007 I decided to sell the agency, but stay on with the new owners.

Countries visited: Most of Europe including Turkey and Morocco; USA, Alaska and Canada; South America and the Antarctic; South Pacific Islands – Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Tahiti; South East Asia - Singapore, Hong Kong and Philippines; Cruising - South Pacific, Alaska and Mediterranean; Australia and New Zealand: Tasmania -walking Cradle Mountain and Maria Island; Broome, Bungle Bungles and Cape Leveque; Cairns, Daintree and Captain Cook cruises to outer reef; Perth and Margaret River; Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road; Skiing New Zealand South Island and Milford Track 6 day walk with Milford Sound cruise

Best Travel Experience: Zambia safari with A&K with a awesome ultra light flight over Victoria Falls (as per my picture) 

Worst Travel Experience: None it all been a great adventure and opportunity

Favourite place: Antarctica – The place is so remote and fascinating and has beautiful challenging ice landscapes.

Sarah Parker – Senior Travel Consultant

Sarah has been organising group Travel for Disabled Passengers for the last 10 years. Sarah has a wealth of knowledge in groups. Sarah has 2 young children so she is an expert on putting together Family holidays.

Worst Travel Experience:  Being on the Eurostar when it broke down in the tunnel and the lights went out!!!!

Experience: After completing a Bachelor of Tourism Management at UTS began working at Westpac Travel in 1992 in Groups and Incentives. Then moved on to Marketing and retail travel with Amex and several years in Corporate Travel with ITG.

Best Travel Experience: Bungy jumping in New Zealand.
